Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Vyser, operated by Paryar Technologies Limited, Kumasi, Ghana. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Vyser is an offline-first point-of-sale and sales management app for small businesses, operated by Paryar Technologies Limited, Kumasi, Ghana. Depending on your plan, it lets you record sales, manage products and stock, track customer debts, produce receipts and invoices, view business reports, add staff accounts and publish an online storefront.

Features and limits differ between plans and may change over time. Together with our website and storefronts, we call this the “Service”.

2. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and be using Vyser for your business, or as a sole trader.
  • You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • You must keep your login details private. You are responsible for everything done under your account, including actions by staff you add.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.

3. Staff accounts

  • If your plan includes Staff Mode, you (the merchant) create and manage staff accounts and decide what each staff member can do.
  • You are responsible for your staff’s use of the Service and for making sure they follow these Terms.
  • Staff accounts are tied to a device. Changes to a staff member’s role take effect the next time they log in.
  • If the merchant’s trial or plan expires, staff access is paused as well.

4. Free trial, plans and payment

  • New accounts get a 14-day free trial of the plan chosen at sign-up.
  • Paid plans (Solo, Team and Standard) have different limits and features, described on our website and in the app. Plans can be bought for a monthly, quarterly, six-monthly or yearly period. Prices are in Ghana cedis (GH₵) and are shown on our website when you buy.
  • Payment is made on our website through Paystack, not inside the app. Each payment covers the period you choose. Plans do not renew automatically. We send reminders as your trial or plan approaches its end, and you renew by choosing to pay again.
  • When a trial or paid period ends without renewal, access to the app is paused until you renew. Your data is not deleted because a plan expired, and it is available again once you renew, subject to the retention terms in our Privacy Policy.
  • Payments are generally non-refundable once a plan period has started, except where the law requires otherwise or where we choose to make an exception. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days.
  • We may change prices or plan features. Changes apply to purchases made after the change and never reduce a period you have already paid for.
  • If a payment went through but your plan did not activate, email us with your Paystack reference and we will sort it out.

5. Your data and your responsibilities

  • You own the business records you put into Vyser. You give us a limited licence to host, process, back up and display them for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you.
  • You are responsible for making sure you may lawfully record the information you enter, including your customers’ names and phone numbers, and for telling your customers how you use it.
  • Vyser is a record-keeping tool. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice, and you are responsible for checking that your records are correct.
  • Records created offline live only on your device until they sync. Sync regularly, especially before changing, resetting or replacing a device.

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading.
  • Try to access another account’s data, or probe, disrupt or bypass the Service’s security.
  • Bypass plan limits, device binding or subscription checks.
  • Copy, reverse engineer, resell or build a competing service from the app.
  • Upload malicious code or unlawful content, including in product names, descriptions or images.
  • Scrape or automate access to the Service without our written permission.

7. Online storefront

If your plan includes an online storefront, you are responsible for the products, prices, images and shop details you publish, and for making sure they are accurate and lawful. Orders and sales are between you and your customers. We are not a party to them. We may remove storefront content that breaks these Terms.

8. Availability and updates

We work to keep Vyser reliable, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, change or remove features, and release updates. You may need to install the latest version to keep using the Service. Offline features depend on your device working properly.

9. Our intellectual property

Vyser, its name, logo, design and software belong to Paryar Technologies Limited or its licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your business while you comply with these Terms. You do not acquire any rights in the Vyser name or logo.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including Paystack (payments), Google Firebase (notifications), Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting) and WhatsApp (customer messaging you may choose to use). Their own terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for their outages or actions.

11. Suspension and ending your use

You can stop using Vyser at any time and ask us to delete your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, misuse the Service, put other users or the Service at risk, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem first.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises that it will meet every need or be free of faults. We are not responsible for business losses caused by incorrect entries, data that was not synced before a device was lost or reset, or the failure of third-party services.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, sales or data. Our total liability for any claim connected to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of Ghana.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page with its “last updated” date. For significant changes we will also tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. If there is a problem, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot, the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction.
